ATH Seward excited to be in BC's class
By Kipp Adams
After taking a trip to check out the campus last month, Cameron Seward (Atlanta/Westminster) has decided he knows where he wants to play college football. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete will be taking his talents to the ACC.
“I'm committing to BC,” Seward said on Friday.
Boston College beat out several other programs -- including California, Kentucky and Mississippi State -- for Seward, who said feels he can thrive under head coach Steve Addazio.
“Boston College has consistently been the school recruiting me the hardest since I was a sophomore, which tells me that I am an important piece in the scheme they are putting together,” Seward said. “Also I can tell from the recruiting class so far and from the intensity of the new coaching staff that the program is moving in the right direction.”
Seward is excited about how Boston College plans to use him, which is at SAM linebacker, rushing the passer and in space when the team is in its nickel package. Seward gives the Eagles 10 commitments for the 2014 class.
