What he brings: Ideal versatility to be a viable option at multiple positions including WR, Scatback and CB where we think he may have the most upside long term. He is just so smooth and fluid in everything he does. Has great feet and very good top end speed. Not to mention he’s a return specialist.
How he fits: This depends on where Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen plans to use him. If on offense, we see him in a Chris Rainey type role as a utility weapon in the spread.
Reminds us of: Chris Rainey, formerly of Florida. For the reasons stated, he can do so many things for a team.
History at position: If Graham ends up on offense it has been quite some time since Starksville has seen an offensive weapon like Graham. This is where Mullen has made the biggest strides is luring top offensive skill to Mississippi State where in the past this has been a void for them.
Prediction for performance: Could see a sub-package role on offense, certainly is capable talent wise of having a role as a freshman, especially in the return game. On defense, there is likely more of a learning curve, but also may be a higher ceiling.
How the class is shaping up: Graham makes two! He joins another versatile athlete Nikia Cathey, although Cathey isn’t a candidate on defense in our minds.
