No. 5 S Willis is decided, won't sign yet
By Erik McKinney
When ESPN 150 safety Priest Willis (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza) announced that he would not sign with a school on Wednesday, speculation began immediately that the nation's No. 5 safety was rethinking his UCLA pledge and eventually could find his way to LSU.
But while Willis still won't sign with the Bruins on signing day, he said it is because his mom is out of town for work and unable to sign his national letter of intent, rather than due to a change of heart.
Willis said he is unsure when his mother will be back home and able to sign, but it likely will happen Friday or Saturday. Willis said he is sure that he will sign with the Bruins.
It's another big win for this UCLA class, which continues to make its way toward the top-10 groups in the country.
