Razorbacks get first DT pledge for 2013
By Bob Przybylo
It was shaping up to be a big recruiting weekend for Arkansas, and it hasn’t disappointed.
The Razorbacks picked up two commitments Sunday morning and for good measure added a third in the afternoon with defensive tackle Ke’Tyrus Marks (Riviera Beach, Fla./Suncoast). Marks announced on his Facebook page and later confirmed with ESPN.com.
Marks, who is 6-foot-1 and 267 pounds, also had offers from Florida Atlantic, Northern Illinois and Wake Forest, among others.
Three-star defensive back D.J. Dean (Newton, Texas/Newton) and safety De’Andre Coley (Miami/Northwestern) also pledged to the Hogs on Sunday.
Marks is the 16th commit for Arkansas’ class and the first at defensive tackle.
