Fleck's energy attracts another to WMU
By Jared Shanker
Ask any commitment about P.J. Fleck, and the first thing he will almost always mention is the energy the new Western Michigan coach brings.
It is no different for the Broncos' latest commitment, Khairi Bailey (Chicago/Morgan Park).
"Coach Fleck is a young coach and his energy he brings to the program," Bailey said was the biggest reason for his commitment. "A lot of people think WMU isn't good but they really are and we will show it."
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Bailey will play both defensive line positions at Western Michigan. He was moved from defensive end to tackle as a senior.
"I have a nice frame and am versatile," Bailey said.
The three-star prospect also had offers from Ball State, NC State, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Toledo and Western Kentucky.
