Strong flips an SEC commitment

By Corey Dowlar

Charlie Strong returned to his old stomping grounds on Tuesday to flip an SEC commitment to Louisville.

Charles "Chucky" Williams (Hialeah, Fla,/Champagnat Catholic) was a Mississippi commitment prior to this weekend's official visit to Louisville. Apparently his visit to the Bluegrass State was enough, as his head coach Mike Tunsil confirmed his switch.

Williams, who was unavailable for comment, was scheduled to visit the Rebels this upcoming weekend, but those plans are unconfirmed at this time.

Williams took an official visit to Nebraska back in December. Besides the Cornhuskers and Rebels, Arkansas, Boston College, Bowling Green, Clemson, FIU, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Purdue, South Carolina, USF, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Western Kentucky had offered.

Williams originally committed to Ole Miss in July.
