SDSU caps big week with Malik Smith

Defensive back Malik Smith (Compton, Calif./Dominguez) committed to San Diego State Sunday, according to sources, becoming the Aztecs' fourth pledge of the week.
Arizona, Utah and Washington State also recruited the 6-foot, 175-pound senior. Rivals.com lists Smith as a "soft" verbal and reports that he has scheduled an official visit to Nevada for next weekend.
San Diego State now has 21 pledges for 2013 and one of the top non-BCS classes for this recruiting cycle.
