West region big man calls the Hogs

By Erik McKinney

If head coach Bret Bielema is going to bring his power running game from Wisconsin to Arkansas, he's going to need the hogs up front to do so. On Saturday, Arkansas added a potentially big piece to the offensive line, as the Razorbacks reeled in a commitment from a three-star guard.

Reeve Koehler (Honolulu/St. Louis) seemed to be focused on Kansas and Tennessee as his recruiting process wound down, but Arkansas continued to push hard for the imposing 6-foot-4, 321-pound lineman and during an official visit this weekend, secured a verbal commitment.

He is commitment No. 14 for Arkansas and only the first high school offensive lineman to join the class. The No. 4 player in Hawaii, Koehler held an impressive collection of scholarship offers, including California, Georgia, Oregon and Washington.
