Chippewas grab in-state receiver

Senior prospect Eric Cooper (Mount Morris, Mich./Beecher), a 5-foot-11, 177-pound wide receiver, has committed to Central Michigan over a scholarship offer from Grand Valley State, multiple sources report.
This spring, Cooper registered a 4.79 40-yard dash, 4.32 20-yard shuttle, 25.2-inch vertical and 67.26 SPARQ at a Nike Combine.
The Chippewas have 20 players on board for 2013.
