LB Wingo-Reeves makes the swap

By RecruitingNation

Two-star outside linebacker Connor Wingo-Reeves (Richmond, Va./Monacan) changed his commitment Sunday from the Owls to the Cavs, according to multiple reports.  He's slated to make an official visit to Charlottesville, Va. next weekend.

Wing0-Reeves confirmed the news with a few Twitter posts on his handle @CwingoR40, "After talking it over with my family I have decided to decommit from Temple University and accept a scholarship to play at UVA Go Hoos!...  Feels good to be a Hoo #WaHooWa"

Navy, Temple and William & Mary also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 226-pound senior.  Boston College, East Carolina, Maryland and Virginia Tech showed interest.

ESPN states in his evaluation:  "Wingo-Reeves is an aggressive run stopper off the edges but needs to improve his sideline to sideline range...  will need some time and most likely a red shirt year if he is to compete for starting time at the BCS level of play."

Virginia has 19 players on board for 2013.
