Former Bearcats commit to Kent State
By Jared Shanker
Despite going through a coaching change of its own, Kent State was the beneficiary of another coaching change this week.
Three-star Reynoldsburg (Ohio) receiver Mykel Traylor-Bennett committed to Kent State on Wednesday, he told ESPN.com in a text message. He was previously committed to Cincinnati but was not hearing much from new Bearcats coach Tommy Tuberville.
Traylor-Bennett committed to Cincinnati in June after a camp, and the Bearcats were his top choice as his mother graduated from the school.
Minnesota, Syracuse and several MAC programs also offered Traylor-Bennett.
