Reavis hearing from the ACC
By Corey Dowlar
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- 2014 safety C.J. Reavis (Chester, Va./Thomas Dale) has added three new offers recently from Maryland, North Carolina and North Carolina State.
With Boston College, Virginia and Virginia Tech in hand already, it provides a nice, local base for his recruiting options.
"They are all pretty close to home," he said before the Under Armour Combine. "They talk to me a lot and show me a lot of love.
"I don't need to be close to home, but it would be a bonus."
His criteria are pretty simple. Reavis wants a place where he can get a quality degree, but also have the chance to play for hardware.
"Academics, of course," he said. "I want to win and compete for a championship."
With junior day events on the horizon, Reavis has a couple of trips he'd like to take. Three new ACC teams have begun to show interest and invited him down.
"I will be at Georgia Tech soon," Reavis said. "I am supposed to go to Clemson, and I am trying to get down to Florida State, too."
Reavis mentioned if there was one offer he could get in the near future, he'd like it to be Clemson.
