Colorado raids Jayhawks for Wilson
Three-star defensive end De'Jon Wilson (Washington, D.C./Woodson) has decommitted from Kansas and verbally committed to Colorado, multiple sources report. Kansas recently fired head coach Turner Gill.
Wilson, who originally picked the Jayhawks in August, also garnered scholarship offers from Michigan State, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Illinois, Temple, Marshall, Buffalo and Toledo earlier in the process.
This is the second time in November that the Buffaloes have drawn a commitment from a program making a coaching change. Three-star tight end Austin Ray (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) jumped from Ole Miss to Colorado on the 22nd.
Wilson, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound senior, is the 15th Class of 2012 verbal for Colorado.
