Louisville wins the battle for Corey Cooper
Highly-coveted three-star wide receiver Corey Cooper (Raleigh, N.C./Millbrook) has committed to head coach Charlie Strong and the Cardinals, multiple sources report.
The 5-foot-11, 190-pound pass catcher is rated as the nations No. 67 WR according to ESPN.
Cooper was also offered by UConn, East Carolina, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami-FL, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Tulsa, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Washington State and West Virginia.
Louisville, which recently lost four-star cornerback Ryan White (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) to Vanderbilt, have 10 verbals.
