Central Michigan loads up
Multiple sources are reporting that the Chippewas have picked up five new commitments: two offensive linemen, a running back, a defensive lineman and a linebacker.
6-foot-4, 265-pound Austin Doan (Romeo, Mich.) and 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jack Ford (Cadillac, Mich.) have become the first two OL pledges for Central Michigan. Ford also held an offer from Toledo.
Additionally, the Chips gained their first running back in Derrick Nash (Carrollton, Mich.).
"It felt pretty good," Nash told mlive.com. "When they told me that there was many running backs that they could have took and they chose me, I was pretty excited."
Also jumping on board were two defenders, defensive tackle Alex Coty (South Bend, Ind./Clay), a 6-foot-4, 272-pounder, and 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker Jeff Perry (Morris, Ill.). Perry was offered by Bowling Green and received some BCS attention.
