Gamecocks land in-state 'backer
Rising senior linebacker Gerald Turner (Goose Creek, S.C.) committed to play for South Carolina on Saturday, multiple sources report.
North Carolina and Clemson also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot, 235-pound prospect. Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech were among the other schools showing interest.
The Gamecocks have three recruits on board for 2013.
