Four-star wide receiver Jordan Payton (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) traveled to South Bend, Ind., for an official visit this past weekend and now has the Irish "tied" with Michigan atop his list, according to multiple sources.
Payton, who originally committed to USC, has an official visit scheduled for Penn State in November.
Arizona State, California, Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma and the Trojans still might be under consideration for the 6-foot-2, 200-pound senior.
Despite rumbling that Payton could make his decision as soon as Tuesday, he is not expected to announce at this time.
