Class of 2013 tight end / linebacker Alec Dhaenens (Fruitland, Idaho) committed to play for the Broncos on Friday, according to the Idaho Press-Tribune.

Washington State and Nevada also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect.

Fruitland coach Bruce Schlaich commented on Dhaenens' potential, “The upside is huge. He was a kid that was a running back until his junior year, so you know what kind of an athlete his is by that. He’s grown tremendously.”

Boise State's other 2013 pledge is from Dhaenens' high school teammate, linebacker Joey Martarano.
