Arizona Western College (Yuma, Ariz.) safety / outside linebacker Chris Young has decommitted from Oregon State and is now on board with Arizona State following an official visit to campus, multiple sources report.
Young, an Auburn, Wash. native who earned junior college All-American honors for his performance this fall, had picked the Beavers last week. Indiana offered and programs such as Washington, Ohio State and New Mexico State were also recruiting the 6-foot-1, 220-pound defender.
He originally signed with Washington in 2010 as a three-star safety.
At this time, Arizona State has 21 commitments. After their coaching change, the Sun Devils have endured as much turnover and uncertainty with their recruiting class as any school in America for 2012.
