Junior ArDarius Stewart (Birmingham, Ala./Fultondale) committed to play for the Crimson Tide Saturday, multiple sources report. He was on campus for the program's junior day.
Utah also extend an early scholarship offer to Stewart. Schools such as Auburn and Clemson were showing interest.
He was recently named the Class 2A Back of the Year in Alabama and finished fourth for the state's "Mr. Football" award. He amassed over 2,000 yards on the ground and threw for more than 1,400 yards (both school records).
Stewart's decision surfaced shortly after word broke that ESPNU 150 Watch List running back Altee Tenpenny (North Little Rock, Ark.) committed to the Tide.
