The Rams have picked up a verbal commitment from Johnny Schupp (Vacaville, Calif.), the Vacaville Reporter reports.
Schupp's decision, unlike most commits who pick between schools, revolved around what sport he wanted to play, as he is among the best heavyweight wrestlers in the state:
"I love both of them (sports), but the way I see it, I wanted to do something after college and playing at the next level in the NFL has always been a dream of mine."
The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder excelled at defensive end in high school, but the Colorado State coaching staff looks at him as a tight end.
