North Carolina has added a pledge from three-star defensive end Justin Thomason (McDonough, Ga./Eagle's Landing Christian), multiple sources report. He was favoring the Tar Heels and made an official visit to Chapel Hill, N.C., this weekend.
Indiana, Louisville, Boston College, Missouri, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Washington State, South Carolina, UAB, Ohio, Buffalo, Central Florida, Middle Tennessee and Southern Miss also offered.
Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee were among the other programs showing interest in the 6-foot-3, 235-pound prospect.
North Carolina has 18 commitments.
