Four-star cornerback Deion Bonner (Columbus, Ga./Carver) has committed to play for Tennessee after making an official visit to Knoxville, multiple sources report.
Early in the process, he was one of 2012's most coveted recruits. However, Bonner plead guilty to misdemeanor charges from a theft incident that occurred while on a visit to Georgia. He only played in six games this fall after serving a suspension.
Prior to the legal issue, Bonner had collected scholarship offers from most of the nation's top programs including Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Clemson.
Tennessee currently has the country's 20th best recruiting class according to ESPNU.
