Three-star defensive tackle Danny O'Brien (Flint, Mich./L.M. Powers Catholic) committed to Tennessee over Michigan on Thursday during a press conference at his school, Chantel Jennings of ESPN's WolverineNation reports.
"Tennessee had felt like home to me," O'Brien said.
Florida, Indiana. Michigan State, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Alabama, Illinois, Cincinnati and Iowa also extended offers to the 6-foot-2, 290-pound prospect.
Tennessee now has 18 commitments in its nationally-ranked Class of 2012.
