BEAVERTON, Ore. -- After a slow start, the Washington Huskies are red-hot. The Huskies picked up three commitments in the past two weeks following their Rising Stars Camp and added an ESPN 300 prospect Tuesday at The Opening.

Fontana (Calif.) Summit four-star receiver Erik Brown joined the commitment parade when he pledged to Washington on ESPNU. The 6-foot-1, 172-pound Brown picked the Huskies over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Fresno State, Houston, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington State and others.

"This whole process, it's a blessing, but I've worked hard for it," Brown said.
