Washington State is off to a solid start in building its 2014 recruiting class, but head coach Mike Leach's job might have gotten a little tougher when defensive tackle Marcus Griffin (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue) decided to attend this past weekend's Oregon Nike Camp.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound lineman walked away with defensive line MVP honors in a crowded group that included defensive end Connor Humphreys (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic) and impressive 2015 tackle Thomas Toki (Kirkland, Wash./Juanita). It certainly speaks to Griffin's natural ability, as it was his first camp experience of any kind.
