Junior receiver Marcus Perkins (Garland, Texas/Naaman Forest) has committed to sign with Texas State, multiple sources report.
The Bobcats are the only school to offer Perkins at this time, but other programs such as Arizona State, Arkansas, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas-San Antonio expressed interest.
Perkins has been contributing for Naaman Forest since his freshman season when the 5-foot-8, 165-pound prospect caught 22 passes for 320 yards and 4 touchdowns.
He is Texas State's first 2014 pledge.
