Healthy and hungry, ESPN Watch List cornerback Cedric Dale (Fort Worth, Texas/Timber Creek) is a player to watch for the offseason. After breaking his arm midway through his junior season, Dale now is completely healthy and ready to show his skills in an effort to earn more offers.
Dale’s lone offer is from Texas Tech, and he had a chance to take in the Lubbock, Texas, experience over the weekend. Dale, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound athlete projected to play cornerback in college, attended Texas Tech’s junior day on Saturday and said he enjoyed the trip.
“It turned out really well. I got to meet the coaching staff,” Dale said. “I got to know [cornerbacks] Coach [Kevin] Curtis. He’s really down to earth. He went to Tech, and he would be coaching me there. He made it to the pros and got drafted, so he’s been in my situation before.
