Slot receiver T.V. Williams (McKinney, Texas/McKinney) isn’t used to running the 40-yard dash in anything higher than 4.5 seconds. So when he got word of his time of 4.6 seconds at the U.S. Army National Combine in July, he looked at it as a measuring stick and gave himself a personal message.

Get better. Quickly. And be consistently dominant.

Since January, the lightning-quick receiver has been working to show he’s one of the top players at his position. After sending highlight tapes out to programs nationwide, California co-signed with his playmaking abilities. The Golden Bears, led by head coach Sonny Dykes, extended a scholarship offer to the 5-foot-9, 155-pound sparkplug.
