Senior cornerback Marcellus Pippins (El Cerrito, Calif./El Cerrito) has committed to Washington State. However, he's not listed with the program's 2013 class on the Cougars' official Web site, and according to multiple sources, appears to have accepted a grayshirt offer.
Pippins originally pledged to Utah. San Diego State UCLA, UNLV and Utah State also extended scholarship offers to the 5-foot-9, 165-pound three-star.
ESPN calls him, "an explosive corner prospect falling under the BCS radar. He lacks ideal size and speed on paper but looks and plays bigger and makes up for his lack of height with excellent burst."
