Saturday, the Wildcats received a signed letter of intent from three-star safety David Price (Long Beach, Calif./Poly). Arizona's official Web site confirmed the news, listing Price with its 2013 class.
He told the Gazette News, "(While visiting Arizona) I felt like I was at Poly again, the players and the coaches welcomed me with open arms."
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior also held scholarship offers from Colorado, Fresno State, New Mexico State and SMU. Arizona, State, California, UCLA, USC and Washington showed interest.
ESPN writes in his evaluation, "Physically, Price looks the part and from a size and speed standpoint has a lot to offer and develop... Needs to continue working on polishing his technique and becoming more explosive but we still feel he's falling under the radar at this stage."
