Mississippi State announced a 20-member signing class Wednesday, but the Bulldogs were not finished.
The program posted, via its Twitter handle @mstateFB, "Mississippi State officially added DB Jahmere Irvin-Sills from Elkton, Md., to the 2013 signing class today."
The high three-star cornerback originally committed to Auburn in June but went back on the market in November after the program's coaching change. He took an official visit to Starkville, Miss., on Jan. 11.
Boston College, Hawaii, Houston, Maryland, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Southern Miss, Temple, Tennessee and West Virginia also extended scholarship offers to the 5-foot-9, 173-pound prospect.
ESPN calls him, "a scheme versatile, aggressive DB with good production and skill-set at both corner and safety ... impressive prospect falling under the radar a bit."
