ESPN 150 linebacker Jermaine Grace committed to Miami on Wednesday afternoon, choosing the Hurricanes over Louisville and Tennessee.
Grace joins four-star wide receiver Stacy Coley as two of the Hurricanes' signing day commitments. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker cited education and distance as his two primary reasons for staying close to home.
"I loved the educational programs at Miami and I really got close to the staff and the players," Grace said. "Playing with my former teammate Tracy Howard is also something I am looking forward to.
Former Miramar products Howard and wide receiver Malcolm Lewis both signed with Miami last year.
