Massive 6-foot-5, 325-pound guard Vincent Hunter (Memphis, Tenn./Whitehaven) is set to play for UAB, multiple sources report.
Arkansas, Memphis and Mississippi State also extended scholarship offers to the three-star senior, while Michigan, Nebraska and Ole Miss showed some interest.
ESPN writes in his scouting report, "Hunter is a wide bodied, tough run blocker with the playing strength needed to dominate his present level of opponent. Has the size and athleticism for the offensive guard position at the major level of competition."
He's ranked third among UAB's highest-rated 2013 pledges.
