Seniors Mike Minter (Atlanta/McNair), Jimal McBride (Waycross, Ga./Ware County) and Shane Tucker (Memphis, Tenn./University) are all on board with Middle Tennessee, according to multiple sources. Additionally, Max Olson of ESPN's HornsNation reported earlier Friday that Contra Costa College (San Pablo, Calif.) linebacker Aaron Norton-Buford selected the Blue Raiders.
Minter is a 5-foot-11, 162-pound cornerback who picked MTSU over a scholarship offer from Buffalo and interest from Cincinnati, Duke and Georgia Tech. He posted some impressive combine figures this spring on the Nike circuit, including an electronically-timed 4.57 40-yard dash and 32.1-inch vertical.
ESPN considers McBride a two-star talent. Colorado State, Florida International, Georgia State, Louisiana-Lafayette and South Alabama also offered the 6-foot-1, 288-pound defensive tackle. His evaluation states, "Flashes the tools to be a tough solid defender and for the FBS level may more ideally fit as a wave player."
