Three-star outside linebacker Devan Carter (Rochester, N.Y./Brighton) traveled to Piscataway, N.J. this weekend for an official visit committed to the Orange. Monday, he flipped to the Scarlet Knights, according to multiple sources.
"It was amazing," he told NJ.com. "I loved all the recruits and the players, they were awesome. The school is really organized and put together. I like their academic support system, their values and the weight room. And I like how the players believe in the coaches. I just liked it all."
Carter, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound senior prospect, originally picked Syracuse in June and completed an official with the Orange in December.
