Following an official visit, athlete Dontel James (Fontana, Calif./Summit) committed to play for the Fresno State Bulldogs, multiple sources report.
The 6-foot, 205-pound three-star prospect, who previously attended Colony High School (Ontario, Calif.), also was recruited by Arizona, Boise State, New Mexico State and Washington State.
ESPN writes in his evaluation, "James is a very good football player falling under the radar as he's a bit of tweener... May get recruited to play on either side of the ball depending on scheme as he shows talent at both running back and safety."
James is commitment No. 22 for Fresno State.
