Louisiana-Monroe has secured verbal commitments from safety Marquis McCullum (Birmingham, Ala./A.H. Parker) and outside linebacker Sterling Doss (Slidell, La./Salmen), according to multiple sources.
McCullum has ball-hawk potential as he ran an electronic 4.68-second 40-yard dash, a 4.47 20-yard shuttle and had a 33.6-inch vertical leap on the combine circuit as a sophomore.
