Three-star wide receiver Malik Mitchell (Alpharetta, Ga./Milton) has pledged to sign with Northern Illinois, according to multiple sources, becoming the Huskies' highest-rated 2013 recruit in ESPNs rankings.
Toledo and Western Michigan also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 180-pound pass-catcher.
The Milton Eagles Football Twitter account, @MHSsince1921, posted about his decision, "Big congrats to Malik Mitchell on his commitment to Northern Illinois! A great program is getting a great kid & player! #EaglePride"
