Three-star Drew Wolitarsky (Canyon County, Calif./Canyon County) committed Sunday to play in the Big Ten for Minnesota, according to sources. He visited the Gophers back in September.
Arizona, Army, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico State and San Jose State (Dec. 7 official visit) also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 215-pound target. Boise State, Colorado, UCLA and Washington showed interest.
ESPN writes in his scouting evaluation, "Wolitarsky is a possession player with redeeming qualities... Possesses good size and strength as an outside receiver, but lacks top end speed and may be a candidate to move down into an H position with added bulk... Super productive young high school receiver who has the tools to be productive in the right system at the next level."
