Wide receiver LeAndrew Gordon (Arlington, Texas/Pantego Christian) isn’t new to coaches coming and going. The three-star athlete knows turnover is a part of the coaching business.
Gordon, a Kansas State commit, has seen that firsthand with two coaches he’s especially close with. His father, Joe Gordon, left Kansas State in July to become a graduate assistant at Division III Mississippi College. Joe was the director of football recruiting operations at Kansas State.
Most recently, LeAndrew saw Michael Smith, the former Wildcats receivers coach leave last week to take the similar position at Arkansas. LeAndrew has known Smith since he was young. Additionally, Smith was his recruiting contact.
