Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, Ga.) safety/outside linebacker Neville Hewitt has committed to sign with Marshall, according to sources.
Hewitt, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect, took an official visit to Arkansas on Dec. 14 and had one scheduled with Auburn for Friday. Colorado State offered while Texas A&M showed interest.
In 2011, ESPN considered Hewitt a three-star player coming out of Conyers (Ga.) Rockdale County. At that time, ESPN called him "a sleeper at the safety position and should see his recruiting stock increase as more coaches view tape on him. Balanced run and pass supporter with good size and a physical nature sought-after at the position. Instinctive and quick 'diagnoser' who finds the football quickly."
Hewitt is commitment No. 16 for the Thundering Herd.
