There have been more than a few instances during the 2013 recruiting cycle that prove recruiting is a tough business, and another chapter was added to that story last week.
Wide receiver Ammon Barker (Sandy, Utah/Alta) committed to UCLA in early November, but will now likely decide between Hawaii and San Diego State. Barker was recruited to UCLA by Marques Tuiasosopo, who left in late December to become the quarterbacks coach at Washington.
"My coach left and I wasn't sure where I stood with them," Barker said. "They got in contact with me and said I didn't have an offer, so I've been looking elsewhere."
