Junior linebacker Joe Blue (Dillon, S.C./Dillon) has become South Carolina's first verbal for the Class of 2014, multiple sources report.
Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech also extended early scholarship offers to the 6-foot, 235-pound prospect. Other programs including Clemson, Georgia, LSU and North Carolina State showed some early interest.
