Running back Jordan Howard (Gardendale, Ala./Gardendale) spent the weekend at UAB on an official visit and left as a Blazers commitment, AL.com reports.
"I felt like the time was right," he said. "I had been thinking about it for a long time, and decided it was time for me to commit... The visit went really well. The players showed us a good time and I got to know them and tour the school."
The 6-foot, 203-pound talent carried 179 times for 1,388 yards and 20 touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 183 yards and another score as a senior.
