A Super Bull Sunday for South Florida

January, 21, 2013
While ‘Super Bowl Sunday’ isn’t for another couple of weeks, it was ‘Super Bull Sunday’ for South Florida after Willie Taggart and the Bulls staff received commitments from several top recruits.

The big news for South Florida started early when ESPN 300 defensive lineman Eric Mayes (Sarasota, Fla./Booker) committed to the program and when the day was over South Florida had four new commitments on the defensive side of the ball.

The commitment of Mayes and getting three-star defensive lineman Derrick Calloway (Bradenton, Fla./Manatee) to flip from Louisville to South Florida were the biggest stories and showed the pull that Taggart has in the Sarasota/Bradenton community.
