Auburn had one of the busiest recruiting weeks of any program in the nation. Thanks to the work of top assistant Dameyune Craig the school hosted several prospects, including Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln teammates Taj Williams and James Hearns.
Lincoln head coach Yusuf Shakir said he will meet with both of his players tomorrow but Williams called him during the trip and raved about the visit.
“He said he was having the best time and Auburn pretty much shot up his board as a leader,” Shakir said. “He wanted to commit, he said he did but I know how it is to get caught up in the moment so I want him to come back and talk about things with his family and go from there.”
