Three-star outside linebacker Rayfield Dixon (Loxahatchee, Fla./Seminole) committed to play for Minnesota, according to reports.
The 6-foot-3, 192-pound senior officially visited the Gophers on Dec. 14. He also made officials to Purdue (Sept. 28), West Virginia (Oct. 19), Louisville (Dec. 7) despite not having an offer from the Cardinals, and Bowling Green (Jan. 11).
Florida International, Georgia State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi State, Northern Illinois, South Alabama, Temple, Tulane, Wake Forest and Western Kentucky were his other offers. Programs such as Miami (Fla.) and South Florida showed interest.
