College of the Sequoias (Visalia, Calif.) defensive tackle Claudell Louis has switched his commitment from the Cougars for the Bulldogs, according to multiple reports.

Louis, a 6-foot-5, 270-pounder, is considered a three-star talent and the No. 94-rated juco prospect for 2013 by ESPN.

Following evaluation of his junior college film, ESPN said Louis is "a defensive end who needs to transition inside to the tackle position. He has terrific measurables, long arms and the frame to continue to bulk up and add strength. He looks terrific on the hoof, but isn't quick twitch enough to remain at end, especially for BCS schools ... The issue with Louis is that he flashes, but lacks explosiveness on a consistent basis."

Fresno State has 17 players committed or already signed for this recruiting cycle. Eight of the 17 are junior college prospects.
