Two-star running back Xavier Johnson (Tampa, Fla./Chamberlain) is no longer committed to Toledo and will sign with South Alabama next month, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Johnson will take an official visit to the Jaguars' campus this weekend. He also had offers from Florida Atlantic, Massachusetts and Ohio.
The 5-foot-10, 167-pounder burst onto the national scene as a junior after rushing for 1,736 and 16 touchdowns in 2011. His workload lessened as a senior, but he still averaged over 7-yards a carry and scored 10 touchdowns.
